Creator Studio guide: build your first game on ForgeClan

ForgeClan Studio lets you build a browser game by describing it in plain words. This Creator Studio guide walks you through your first build from start to finish.

Open the Studio

Click Create an App in the top menu. Sign in if asked. New members start with 15 free credits and every build uses one credit. Failed or stopped builds are refunded.

Start a project

Press New project, give it a name and pick Game. You land in the workspace: the chat on the left, the live preview on the right.

Describe your game

Write what you want as if you were telling a friend. Good prompts mention:

  • the type of game (runner, puzzle, shooter, racing)
  • the controls (arrow keys, mouse, tap)
  • how you win and lose
  • the look (pixel art, neon, cartoon)

Example: "A neon endless runner where a robot jumps over lasers with the space bar. Speed increases every 10 seconds. Show the score and a game-over screen with restart."

Watch it build

Press send. You will see live steps: planning, writing files and finishing. When it is done the game appears in the preview. Click inside the preview and play.

Next steps

Keep chatting to change things, then publish. The next articles in this series cover prompts, templates, previews and publishing.
